This movement began with the EXAT group in the early 1950s and was further shaped by exhibitions of the international New Tendencies art movement. The exhibition of artworks by Juraj Dobrović was a joint project of the Museum of Fine Arts in Split and the Jelsa Municipal Museum. It was a specific exhibition that took place at two addresses at the same time and its seeds have been sown by the artist himself: with his donations, Juraj Dobrović has connected the two museum institutions and encouraged them to collaborate.
